A Tribute to Harriett Lake

UCF Provost Terry Hickey, College of Arts & Humanities Dean Jose Fernandez, and Vice President Bob Holmes were on hand to present a tribute to Harriett Lake for her contributions to Arts II and the future Costume Design Program.

Harriett pledged $500,000 for the UCF Arts II building, which will be the first major upgrade in campus performance space for UCF Theatre and Music in more than 25 years. One of Harriet's favorite costumes (pictured) is on display in the lobby of the UCF Theatre.

Harriett and her husband Hy are some of Orlando's most generous philanthropists. They are longtime contributors to the Orlando Shakespeare Festival, the Orlando Ballet, and numerous other artistic and charitable works in Central Florida.
