The Professional Science Master’s (PSM) in Conservation Biology is based on courses and an internship. Courses include a range of subjects in addition to graduate biology courses (e.g., business, economics, law, policy). This broad background plus the internship experience prepares PSM graduates for employment related to conservation biology. PSM students are not supported by the department as a graduate teaching or research assistantship and tuition is not waived.

Applications are submitted online and require a well-written letter of application, GPA>3.0, GRE>1000 (note: new GRE exam scores will be based on a different scale), and three strong and explanatory letters of recommendation.
