Research Interests

Although trained as a plant physiologist, almost all my current efforts have involved developing techniques for using Macintosh computers to solve a variety of problems, involving both teaching and biological research. I have developed procedures for analyzing vegetation structure in complex communities, programs for performing complex data analysis, data bases for accessing massive quantities of field records, and programs to be used in the teaching laboratory.
