Research Interests

My primary academic interest is the teaching of science, particularly cell biology, genetics, developmental biology, and related areas. My dissertation research was the study of the signaling cascades that results in transcriptional activation in response to cytokines in cultured human cells. I have also done research in the areas of virology and mouse genetics. My current appointment is as teaching faculty at UCF.
