Research Interests Mr. Stuart Fullerton is the Research Associate in Charge of the UCF Collection of Arthropods (UCFC), also known as the "Bug Closet." His collecting and research efforts currently include studies of the following habitat types in the UCF campus area: Long leaf/Sand Pine-Turkey Oak, Sand Pine-Rosemary Scrub), Cypress Dome, Long Leaf Pine-Saw Palmetto. Habitats not yet being studied include Pond Pine Community, Bay Head, Maidencane Swamp, and Parking Lots/Lawns/Rooftops/Disturbed Areas. He is also responsible for the discovery of Dryinus fullertoni Olmi (Hymenoptera-Dryinidae), which has UCF as its type locality (as does Bakeriella mira Evans (Hymenoptera Bethylidae). |
